Hi, I’m Lauren. I was born and raised in Sonoma County. My experience working with children started in 2007 at the Boys and Girls Club. I pursued my education in the field and achieved my teaching certificate and Associate Degree in Child Development in 2012 from Santa Rosa Junior College. I started teaching as a preschool teacher in 2010 and also traveled as a nanny for families. I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2018 from Sonoma State University. I have ten years of experience working with children as a teacher in preschool and daycare setting as well as a nanny.
My goal in life is to help families in my community and provide quality care for young children. I enjoy working with children because it is my passion to influence their lives by promoting play so they reach developmental goals. I like to do art projects, play games, read books and a variety of outdoor activities with children. My hobbies include snowboarding, yoga, paddle boarding and hiking.
