Jace Nanny Profile

Jace C.

Hi, my name is Jace and I am 23 years old. I was born and raised in Petaluma, California and, to this day, I currently reside on the westside of Petaluma. Growing up, I always had a passion for sports, particularly baseball, which I played from the age of 5 and into high school at Petaluma High. I am an avid fan and follower of the San Francisco Giants, Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers. Most recently, I have taken on and developed a love for the game of golf and try to play at least 9 holes a week. I am a recent Class of 2021 cum laude graduate of San Jose State University, where I received a BA in Psychology. In the near future, I plan to further my education by completing a Master’s Program with a concentration in Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology. In the summer of 2021, I relocated to Davis, California with my girlfriend, Grace, who attends UC Davis, as I accepted a job right out of college as a Talent Manager with Robert Half and was based out of Sacramento. In April of 2022, I returned to Sonoma County after accepting a position as an Office Manager with EP Behavior Consulting, a Behavioral Health Clinic in Santa Rosa, California. I continue to work as a full-time Office Manager with EP Behavior Consulting during the week and absolutely love the people I work with and the work that I get to do day in and day out!

In terms of my childcare background, I worked as a Behavior Specialist with Center for Social Dynamics, volunteered as a 6th grade camp counselor and have also cared for several children in my neighborhood over the years. As a Behavior Specialist, I worked with two clients, an 11 year-old and an 18 year-old, who were both on the autism spectrum and or who faced developmental challenges which impacted their lives on a daily basis. Working with these two individuals, my primary purpose was to help support them and to provide the tools necessary for them to effectively reach the goals that were set forth for them in order to grow personally, socially, scholastically and professionally. Doing this work within the scope of childcare was inexplicably rewarding and fulfilling and I hope to be granted the opportunity to continue working with children and helping to positively shape their futures! I am an extremely patient and understanding individual and have an innate ability to communicate with, and relate to, the youth. Given my childcare background, I have developed the necessary tools to provide children with the perfect balance of being carefree and having fun and knowing how and when to become disciplined.
