My name is Jacob Berg. I am a recent graduate of UC Santa Barbara, with a long-term goal of working in the field of education. I have lived in Mill Valley my
entire life and attended Old Mill Elementary, MVMS, and Tam High. I have always been very involved in sports, ranging from basketball, tennis, and soccer to baseball. I have played baseball from the age of five through age twenty. I was captain of the team my senior year of high school, won the Golden Glove while playing for College of Marin, and have extensive experience coaching youth, ages five through eighteen. In addition, I have extensive babysitting and nannying experience, including my current position working with two boys ages, nine and fourteen. I have assisted this family since 2016 and continue to do so. I have built strong relationships with these boys and their family.
I currently live at home and have a part-time internship. I also am an assistant coach with the freshman baseball team at Tam High. Both positions are part-time and do not conflict with the needs of your family.
I am reliable and dependable. I have reliable transportation, am skilled at communicating with parents, tutoring, and providing structure as needed. I am an excellent role model and pride myself on my ability to build strong relationships with both children and adults. I am well-liked, assertive when needed, but also supportive and kind.
