Janet O.

Hi my name is Janet. I am born and raised in Sonoma County.  I started working at a preschool near me in November of 2020 while actively seeking out my degree in Elementary Education.  I am coming on to 3 years working with the Preschool and in that time I have worked with ages of infancy- 12 years old.  I have bounced around many classrooms but as of recently, I landed in my permanent classroom in the Infant class!

During my time at the Preschool, I had taken and completed, 5 child development courses at my local junior college and got my CPR certification.  While at work, I am responsible for multitasking and supervising children at all times, creating and executing curriculum appropriate for that set age group, and keeping a clean environment for the children among many other tasks. When I started working at the preschool, I quickly fell in love with the job and decided that I actively want to further my career in it.
