Hi! My name is Kelsey and I am from Manhattan Beach, California. I discovered my passion for working with children when I was very young and would babysit my little sister and her friends. In high school, I had a consistent nannying job for a family with a 7 year old boy and a 10 year old girl. I also babysat for many of our neighbors and friends over the years.
I attended college at Sonoma State University and got my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. During my time in school, I volunteered, assisted, and substitute taught at multiple early childhood programs and elementary school classrooms. I also have a couple years of summer camp experience working with children ages 4-14. I absolutely fell in love with Sonoma County and my amazing fiancé and I decided to settle down in Santa Rosa after we graduated.
Some of my hobbies include hiking and exploring nature, baking, cooking, crafting, and playing beach volleyball. My favorite activities to do with children are reading, imaginative and dramatic play, and just running around and having fun outside! I am very open to helping children navigate distance learning and have experience tutoring and helping with homework as well.
