Lauren T.

Hi there! My name is Lauren and I am from Charleston, SC. My interest and joy in childcare was found through my mother, who is an early childhood education specialist. Caregiving is a natural skill for me that I have developed overtime through my experiences. I attended college at Clemson University and would spend time away from my studies volunteering with the infants and toddlers at the local Child Development Center. After months of consistent volunteering and building relationships within the daycare center, I became an employee for over three years before graduating from college. I had the opportunity to be a nanny and babysitter for three families that I met during my time of employment.

Since then I have served as a private nanny for several families, including those with newborns, infants, toddlers, and multiples. While being a nanny, I also completed my master’s degree from the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill in healthcare administration. I am a patient, loving, and organized professional with years of meaningful caregiving experience. I enjoy music and arts, as well as the outdoors. I have been playing the violin for 20 years now, and I organized an arts program for children (0-4 years old) to have music and creative arts incorporated into their weekly activities. I also have taught violin lessons to children as young as two years old and it has been a pleasure getting to combine two of my passions as a learning moment for others. I find both joy and excitement in playing a role in the finest years of growth and development in a child’s life.¬† Working with children is one of the most fulfilling opportunities I have been granted, and I take pride in my responsibility¬†to create a safe, positive, and healthy environment for all families.
